Event Planning + Floral Design

As founder and lead designer, Bay Stepanski started Laurel Events in 2019. Bay studied Agriculture Education at Texas State University where she landed an internship and was soon hired on with a wedding venue and florist, Memory Lane Event Center and Wild Bunches Floral. She spent over five years there as a lead designer. She then left the Austin Wedding Industry and returned to her Houston roots as an awarded designer with over 500 weddings under her belt in floral design and over 20 as lead wedding coordinator. Aside from design and event planning, she truly loves meeting and connecting on a personal level with brides while making their wildest wedding dreams come to life. Throughout her career, Bay has had her work published in: Style Me Pretty, Borrowed and Blue, Austin Wedding Style, BRIDES Magazine, and The New York Times, and The Knot
